I’m perfectly comfortable seeing anyone’s point of view and not restricting myself to one version . That is the reality of life. If you can’t see the other person’s view and how they formulated it you’re kinda stuck in a one dimensional World.
I recommend an excellent book called Scatterbrain. You’d gain a lot from it. Particularly how you formulate your thoughts.
